The lion is a line-drawn illustration rather than a filled one, the mane and shoulders built from linework instead of shaded in. It runs down the outside of the left leg, sitting low and small against the hem. Nothing on the back or the right side.
Relaxed through the hip and thigh and tapered at the knee, so they hang rather than flare. Angled hand pockets and one at the back, all jersey-lined. At sweatshirt weight they hold up for a walk, a warm-up, or the whole Saturday that starts in the garage and never quite becomes anything else.
